Blue Chip becomes Partners in World Champion
Now four, Sunshine Beach, took his world record of p,3,1:47.4f winning the $500,000 Battle of Brandywine at Pocono in 2013 (defeating Captaintreacherous). Accruing over $900,000 (US) at three; he also surpassed stakes competition in the Somebeachsomewhere, Progress Pace, and Bluegrass Stakes. He was second in the elimination and final of the Breeders Crown.

Somewherovrarainbow Wins the Blue Chip Matchmaker at Yonkers!
Somewherovrarainbow was the winner by about a length in the $371,400 Blue Chip Matchmaker Stake at Yonkers Raceway in 1:52.3. The winning mare, in addition to the half of the purse, also gets a stallion service to one of the Blue Chip stallions. Congratulations to all the connections with Somewherovrarainbow!

The Blue Chip Matchmaker field set for $371,400 final - Check out the standings after the last leg of the Blue Chip Matchmaker at Yonkers! Preliminary eligibles for the final (with point totals) are as follows: Yagonnakissmeornot (350), Summertime Lea (270), Angels Delight (255), Somwherovrarainbow (237), Anndrovette (225), Rocklamation (208), Kripsy Apple (200), Feeling You (193). Shelliscape actually finished with more points (199) than Feeling You, but she would be the third horse from the PJ Fraley barn and only two are permitted in the final.

He is owned by trainer David Menary, Brad Gray and Michael Guerriero and was driven primarily by Jim Morrill Jr.
