BCF provides full service care for mares commencing from the time the mare is bred until the foal is weaned and beyond for additional breeding seasons. Reproductive preparation for current and future breeding seasons is essential. On the farm, Blue Chip’s veterinarian staff breeds over 150 mares each season with over 90% success rate by closely monitoring each mare using advanced technology to electronically chart heat cycles for optimum insemination success.

Blue Chip has long been recognized as an industry leader in foal rates for clients and their own valuable mares. Blue Chip has access to premium stallion semen both in the United States (fresh and frozen) and Europe (frozen) for sport horses.

Blue Chip also provides Embryo Transfer services for mares and can arrange for recipient mares that include providing boarding services for recipient mares.

Blue Chip is a stallion station for Standardbred Stallions and top Sport Horse Stallions across all disciplines providing collection, freezing, storing and shipment of fresh or frozen semen for stallion owners to be shipped nationally or internationally.

BCF has over 40 years of experience in managing stallions and stores semen from their own sport horse stallion and others such as Nabab de Reve, Diamant de Semilly and Chin Chin.
